


The many maps were pretty well thought out and it was cool to see what Sakurai could still do, despite having health issues during Ultimate’sdevelopment. While not having much of a story or being as perfect or grand as Brawl’s Subspace Emissary, World of Light was still a unique, acceptable, and visually interesting adventure mode.

For those who don’t know, Super Smash Bros Ultimate (currently my most favorite game on the Nintendo Switch) has had a well-known adventure mode known as World of Light. However, it didn't have much of a story because Sakurai unfortunately wasn't able to expand its story due to both health issues he was having AND especially due to the fact that he didn’t like the Subspace Emissary cutscenes being uploaded on the internet.
